Born in 1994, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication with a thesis focused on content marketing in the cultural sector. While still a student, she collaborated with various cultural institutions, such as La Triennale Milano. After graduation, I worked for 3 years at Intel Corp. in Finland as a Drone Systems R&D Engineer. Andrew Kane is the Entry-Level Programmes Coordinator at the European Space Agency. He is responsible for overseeing the Young Graduate Traineeships (YGTs), Junior Professional Programme, Internal Research Fellowships, Internships and National Traineeships at ESA. He is based at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, The Netherlands.

I have started my studies with a bachelor’s in business administration at SUPSI. I have then continued with a master’s in management at USI. In this period, I had the opportunity to participate at a program of Swiss Mobility, which enabled me to study for a semester at the university of St. Gallen (HSG). Right after my conclusion of the Master I have started working at EY Lugano, initially with an internship and then continuing as an assistant. Beatrice Iosub is the Team Lead for Drupal CMS. She is responsible for the configuration team and new product launches, and also plays a business analyst role to support and collaborate with the customer. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management and a Master's degree in Management & Informatics from USI, and has two years of industry experience. In her free time, Beatrice enjoys traveling. She is excited to represent Accenture at this event to expand her networking and share her experience both at USI and at Accenture with students.

Claire is currently Head of Service Delivery Management at Avaloq, making sure that services related to Securities Operations meet client expectations in terms of quality, timelines, and performance. With over 10 years of experience in the banking industry, working all around Europe, she is involved in proactive management of projects, resources, and client relationships. When she's not working, Claire can be found riding her bicycle and chauffeuring her toddler around the Lugano Lake area.

I was born in 1987 and grew up in Caslano. After primary and secondary school, I went to Liceo Lugano 1 in Lugano Center. Once completed the high school, I decided to stay in Lugano and enrolled at USI, where I graduated with a Bachelor in Economics first and then with a Master in Banking and Finance. After completing my Master studies in 2011, I joined Avaloq (B-Source) as Business Analyst in the FX & Money Market (FX&MM) team, within the Application Maintenance Services (AMS) division. My job was to analyse issues and improvements Banks found in FX&MM area using Avaloq Banking Suite and to address them to the development teams for corrections, maintenance and enhancement of the Banking software and solution. After a couple of years, I changed team and took over Payments, Cash Operations, Cards and Settlement (COP) team, where I started to organize my job and the one of my teammates. In 2016 I was designed as SME (Subject Matter Expert) and then area manager of the COP team. This is the time when I started my managerial career path in the company. In 2019 I took over the role of Area Manager for the whole transactional area in Avaloq AMS, covering FX&MM, COP, Securities&Trading and Credits teams. From 2021 to 2022 I also experienced the role of Product Owner (PO) for Crypto products&trading in Avaloq, supporting the go-live of Crypto Asset Platform for trading developed by Avaloq. Currently I’m the Middle Manager of the AMS Transactional team for CH&FL Region. My team is made of 16 Business Analysts which take care about the services related to Treasury, Payments, Securities&Trading, Credits and Lending.

After completing my studies at USI Lugano, bachelor's degree in economics and master's degree in banking & finance, I started working as an auditor in financial services for PwC for about 10 years. During these years I reached the rank of manager and obtained the diploma of expert in accounting and finance (Swiss CPA). Since 2022, I have been working at Banca dello Stato del Cantone Ticino with the rank of Director as the chief of accounting as well as support function (project management) for the Finance departement

Elisa Scotto is currently a collaborator at LAC edu. She graduated in Languages and Foreign Literature at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan in 2017. Prior to working at LAC, she employed in various roles concerning event organization and teaching, particularly as a substitute teacher for English and Spanish in middle and high schools. In 2018, she was hired by the Learning and Public Engagement Department at MASI Lugano, where she held various positions. In particular, she conducted guided tours at the two venues of the Museum and supported in managing creative workshops. In 2022, she started working at LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura. Since 2021, she has also been enrolled in the Master's program in Art History and Architecture at USI.

Appointed in 2011, Fabio Bossi is the Swiss National Bank delegate for regional economic relations, responsible for the Italian-speaking region. The delegates represent the SNB in the various regions of Switzerland. Giacomo Francesco Lombardi (1986) began his career as a journalist between Italy and Spain, years during which he covered social and economic issues, especially the effects of the Arab Spring, the social consequences of the financial crisis in Europe, and migration. He later held positions in communications and sales in both non-profit and corporate organizations. Since 2022 he has been Delegate for Italian Switzerland at Médecins sans Frontières.

Giacomo Pianta is consulting manager within the CFO&EV practice group of Accenture, specialized in particular in Asset & Wealth Management with more than nine years experience in the financial services sector. He graduated from ETH Zurich with a Master’s degree in Mathematics and obtained the CFA charterholder certification. Besides work, he loves travelling, reading and following his favorite football team. Giacomo has been participating for several years to university events where he can share his points of view and experiences with students to help them find their way towards the professional future.

Debora wrote a paper focusing on the digitisation of private banking, an analysis that allowed her to identify the right balance between the human and digital dimensions in order to guarantee a high quality innovative service and establish a solid relationship with the client.

My work primarily involves using Angular with TypeScript and Springboot with Java. I studied at USI, where I gained a strong foundation in computer science and software engineering. Lorenzo Ramella Pralungo is a seasoned meteorologist with over a decade of experience in weather analysis for power trading. Holding a PhD in Meteorology from the University of Vienna, Lorenzo closely collaborated on projects with the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, the world's leading centre for weather forecasting. Presently, he leads the Weather Analysis team at DXT Commodities, focusing on weather impacts on energy generation, particularly in renewables power plants, and energy consumption. Outside of work, Lorenzo finds joy in the beauty of nature.

Luca Fabietti holds a Ph.D. in Automatic Control Engineering from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), following a Master's degree earned at both the University of Padova, Italy and Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden. Since 2019, Luca has been a member of the analytics team at DXT Commodities, focusing on developing quantitative models to support decision-makers.

Since October 2018 Marco Bottani has been working as Marketing Analyst at LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura, the cultural center of the City of Lugano. In his role he mainly deals with the analysis and drafting of statistical reports thanks to Business Intelligence tools. In the past he worked in the university field as a marketing assistant at SUPSI and in sport as Digital Marketing & Communication Manager at Hockey Club Lugano.

After her Postdoc in Chemistry at ETH Zurich, Maria Grazia Giuffreda started working at CSCS in 2006 as a support specialist in the group responsible for User Support. In 2010 she was promoted to Group Leader of the User Support team, and then she became Associate Director and head of the User Engagement and Support Unit in 2013.

Massimo Cerutti trained as a chef, graduating with distinction in 1982 in Lausanne (Palace Hotel). He then furthered his training in the best Swiss hotels, such as the "Dolder Hotel" in Zurich and the "Schweizerhof" in Bern, as well as in Germany and England, where he attended the "Business School" in Cambridge. Thanks to a thorough professional training, Massimo Cerutti devoted himself to the development of the family business. At the beginning of 1985, he created his own company, Massimo Cerutti SA. in order to continue to offer coffee connoisseurs balanced and aromatic coffee blends made from real Italian roasting, which enhances the aroma of Italian espresso coffee. In 1996, Massimo Cerutti attended the single course of coffee taster at the International Institute of Coffee Tasters in Brescia, obtaining his licence as a taster. I have a very diverse background, with a bachelor in Electromechanical Engineering obtained in Bolivia, I came to Lugano to pursue a master’s degree focused on machine learning. I've worked as a research assistant and have been a fellow in many international programs, both academic and entrepreneurial. I joined Lifeware in October 2021 and thus my software development journey began. Everyday at work, I face a mix of struggling, lots of learning and thriving at tasks involving writing software and life insurance affairs. My days at Lifeware are for sure exciting.

Since joining Moody’s in March 2006, Monica has been lead analyst for structured finance transactions covering mainly corporate debt backed transactions (e.g. ABCP and ABS), including non-performing loan transactions and innovative transactions, as well as consumer transactions in various EMEA jurisdictions. She is also the author of Moody’s Global Approach to Rating SME Balance Sheet Securitizations and she has also been involved in methodology developments for non-performing transactions. She acts also as research coordinator for the EMEA corporate structure finance team and is regular speaker at conferences. Prior to joining Moody’s, Monica has been a senior credit analyst at UBS (Zurich), where she mainly focused on development and validation of credit rating/scoring systems and Basel II. Before that, Monica worked as Economist and Research Manager in the Swiss Economic and Labour Ministry (Bern) and at the European Commission (DGV). Monica holds a PhD degree in Economics from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), completed at the UCL (London), and she is a certified Financial Risk Manager from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).

My name is Nicola Andreetta, I have been working for BancaStato for a good 30 years and it was here that I did my commercial apprenticeship and my entire career path. I have worked in a variety of areas; as an operator from 1998 to 2004 at the then Electronic Centre, from 2004 to 2014 as a Support Center employee, and from 2014 to 2020 as an e-banking support employee, where I also performed administrative and control activities in the area of social security. For the past 5 years, I have held a leadership role within BancaStato's Customer Service Centre for telephone services, in the areas of "e-banking support and 1st level IT support" supportoATTIVO and "Contact Center" lineaDIRETTA; services which are constantly evolving in view of the imminent introduction of AI, a project which I am personally following. Currently, the teams consist of about 23 people, including some young people in training. I am constantly oriented towards continuous professional growth and the acquisition of new skills. Since the beginning of my professional experience I have always worked in and for the Team and I am strongly convinced that motivation combined with balance are solid foundations on which to build one's future. Samuele Moscatelli is a Software Engineer in Test at Accenture, responsible for full stack software testing through code-level automation and client-facing activities. Born in Spain in 1986, Sara has more than 14 years experience working as an Indirect Tax consultant in Big4 companies After concluding a university degree in Business Administration & Management, Sara obtained a LL.M in Spanish Taxation and joined PwC Spain in 2009 for 6 months internship in the tax department. After this, Sara continued its tax specialization by enrolling in a tax specialization education at Concordia University (Canada). In 2010, Sara moved to Italy to be part of the Indirect Tax department of consulting firm EY where she spent 5 years and meanwhile obtained a Diploma on EU Customs Law. In June 2015, Sara joined PwC Lugano as a VAT & customs specialist, where she advices national and multinational companies in different industries with a particular focus on supply chain aspects and cash flow optimization. Her passion for project and event management led her to obtain a diploma in Project Management and subsequently work for ten years with Compagnia Finzi Pasca, one of the world's leading independent artistic companies. During this time, she contributed to numerous productions and participated in internationally significant projects, including the Olympic Ceremonies in Sochi in 2014 and the Fête des Vignerons in 2019. These projects provided her with extensive experience in various areas, from production to international booking, from tour management to coordinating the company's activities. In 2021, seeking new challenges and growth opportunities, she embarked on a new professional adventure as the head of the events sector at the Events and Congress Division of the City of Lugano, overseeing planning, management, and coordination activities

After completing a Bachelor in History of Art at the University of Lausanne and Paris, she went on to obtain a Master in Museum Studies at the University of Neuchâtel. She is specialised in cultural projects development, museology and cultural mediation. She collaborated in numerous projects in the field of event organisation and exhibition management focused on making contemporary art more accessible to the public. From 2010 to 2012, she worked for the City of Lugano and gave birth to the Urban Art Lugano project. From 2012 to 2015 she co-founded and co-direct in Lugano the ego gallery. From 2015 and 2018 she developed, in collaboration with the Laboratory of Visual Culture (LCV-SUPSI), the Mediation Culture Inclusion research project which focused on instructing art museums on how to improve accessibility for people who are blind and visually impaired. For SUPSI she also carried out teaching activities including courses for the Visual Communication and Interior Architecture degree programs. From 2019 to 2021, she has also collaborated with the Department of Training and Learning (DFA-SUPSI), where she mainly focused on the project Network for an Inclusive Culture in Ticino. Since 2022, she works for the City of Lugano, where she is involved in the Urban Art Lugano project, in cultural development and event organization.

After completing his Postdoctoral research in Chemistry at ETH Zurich, Victor Holanda Rusu joined CSCS in 2016 as a member of the User Support Unit, providing assistance to users and developing scientific codes. Transitioning in 2021 to the role of Collaboration Manager for various Scientific Projects, he subsequently joined the Information Security team in late 2022. Presently, he adeptly navigates both realms, leveraging his background in Cybersecurity while serving as a Collaboration Manager.
